Configuring Fetch

Fetch is a shareware FTP client, which can be used to send and receive files from network hosts that support the TCP/IP File Transfer Protocol. The charge to use Fetch on other than a trial basis, or by non-profit charitable organizations or students, is $25, to be sent to the address listed in the "If You Need Help" section. They accept checks drawn on U.S. banks, U.S. purchase orders, international money orders, Visa, and MasterCard. If using Visa or MasterCard, please send name, number, and expiration date.

Fetch has many configuration options, only the basics of which will be discussed here.

• 1.Open Fetch. Open Fetch by double-clicking on its icon.
• 2.Select "Preferences...". Click on the "Customize" menu and select "Preferences...". A window will open.
• 3.Select "General". Look at the top of the Preferences window for buttons that look like tabs on a file folder. Click "General."
• 4.Enter your e-mail address. In the box under "Default Password," type in your full given you by SkyPoint. It should look like username@skypoint.com.
• 5.Select "OK". Click on the "OK" button in the lower right corner.
